Our last Charity Dance

Friday, 22nd November 2019
in Stonehaven Town Hall
with music by Frank Thomson.
Everyone had a great time.

On Saturday, 13th October 2018 we celebrated our 70th Anniversary as
RSCDS STONEHAVEN BRANCH.

We
had a party in the Station Hotel
learned our branch history from Jill Walker
enjoyed a superb dinner
heard poetry on Scottish Country Dancing written and read by Anne Iles*
saw the cake cut by Emma and Kirsty, our next generation of dancers
posed for photos
won raffles
marvelled at the display Down Memory Lane
admired a special dance demonstration
shared anecdotes with old friends
danced strathpeys, jigs and reels
had great fun
and finished with Auld Lang Syne.
It was a wonderful evening attended by over fifty guests, including many familiar faces from the past.
